FlingSmash (or Striking Bounce: Super Smash Ball Plus in Japan) is a game developed by Artoon for the Nintendo Wii (or Wii Mini) in 2010.

Episode 44: The Legend of Zelda | Tales from the Backlog[]
At the end of the video, Scott Wozniak says that the only other gaming-related topic that makes as little sense as The Legend of Zelda for the NES is that why his copy of FlingSmash is always soaked when he takes it off the shelf, he follows this up by saying "I... don't know why.".
Episode 111: The Game Room[]
Episode 111: The Game Room is the video FlingSmash had the major role in, it could first be seen on a shelf of video games in the intro were Scott Wozniak is pouring wine in a glass, it remains there in the entire video with an exception being when Scott says how he wants a room were Friends can come into the room and see a game they could play, using FlingSmash as an example.
Episode 112: Wii Play | Eh, Why Not?[]
The game also appears in Episode 112: Wii Play | Eh, Why Not? when Scott was showing other games than Wii Play that were also sold with a Wii Controller, FlingSmash being one of them.
Episode 122: Reboots[]
One of the many ideas for four-word opening catchphrases Scott Wozniak wanted to use after he realised people didn't get his current catchphrase anymore was "I played FlingSmash", however, this only uses three words because FlingSmash isn't spaced between Fling and Smash.
Episode 137: Mario Kart DS | On the Road Again[]
FlingSmash was one of the things mentioned in his schedule before it was ripped out in favour for Mario Kart DS.
Episode 150: It's a Bargain Bin Christmas[]
FlingSmash is heavily present in It's a Bargain Bin Christmas, being mentioned mainly in the beginning of the episode. The episode also reveals how Scott Wozniak celebrates Go-To Buy FlingSmash Day on December 24. He then brings them to the bank because he never leaves the house without it and is told that he is bankrupt. Kay Swiss then touches the stack of Flingsmash games and questions why they are wet.
Episode 152: We Dare[]
At the beginning of the episode, Scott Wozniak mentions that he will try to get laid with a Wii game to change his usual Valentines day tradition, he then shows himself at a bar holding a copy of FlingSmash, he then notes that it's harder to get laid with a Wii game than he initially thought.
Episode 179: Used Games[]
While showing examples of damaged used games, a copy of FlingSmash with its keep case's plastic torn off is shown. Scott Wozniak then wonders if the previous owner "spilled water on [the] game and [tried] to dry it off with a saw."
Episode 195: You're Not an RPG Guy: A Scott The Woz Christmas[]
While Scott was talking to God, Team F*cked decide that they should do something for him. They then order a copy of FlingSmash with Target Employee tied up to prevent him from ordering ribs. However, when they were about to give it to Scott, they find him cursing at various RPGs, causing them to leave.
Episode 200: Borderline Forever[]
After Scott says that everything Nintendo's done he has something to bitch about, he then shows a copy of Flingsmash that's wet and questions "Why is this wet?" This is a reference to the 2 times that the copies of Flingsmash were wet in The Legend of Zelda (NES) | Tales from the Backlog, and It's a Bargain Bin Christmas.

- In his panel at TooManyGames 2019, it was revealed that Scott Wozniak refuses to play FlingSmash on Thursdays.[1]
- On Reddit, a subreddit called r/FlingSmash exists which has presumably been taken over by the Scott The Woz fanbase.
- Scott Wozniak often misuses the FlingSmash title as "Fling Smash" such as in his Anime style intro and the line "I played FlingSmash".
